Well Dec 1st came and went and when all of the dust settled, it turned out that I had been accepted to 4 dental schools! UIC, Meharry, SIU, and UK. Now let me tell you why I feel like I have been incredibly blessed; thousands and thousands of people who consider themselves “good students” were all going for the same 60 or so seats at each school and the competition each year gets tougher and tougher. I was confident that I would be a good dental student and dentist, but was a little worried that maybe the admissions committee’s may or may not see that, but I’m so glad that they did! :-)
